The wait for midnight was finally over. Harvestfest chimed in over several households. Human, wolves, foxes, witches, casters. Everyone made an effort to enjoy the bounty of the season and spending time with their friends and/or family.

This was especially true for the Mitsuhide household in Oasis Springs 🥳.

Lin had the house up at 5am to prepare for the small party later that afternoon. Waking up that early wasn't a foreign concept for those who could go days without sleep anyway 😉 .

Lin: So Audrey, the girls, Niko. Who else did we invite, Mik? Mikhail: Umm clicks a few times Ada Wing. Isn't that the woman that helped in the Realm? Lin: Yeah, that's her. I didn't want her to be alone during this time. Onyx! Where are your clothes? Onyx: Hey I was fishing for a hookup! Taeyang: Try harder!

Needless to say that little fire was still burning between Onyx and the boys. She would still pick on them and run away, thinking they would never catch her. That was until Tae grabbed her psionically by the tail, which shocked her because she didn't know he could do that! What she also didn't realise was that her tail was quite sensitive. Of course, she wanted to see what it would feel like being stroked in bed 😈. You can expect that she no longer slept in her own room but at the foot of the boys' bed.

However, now wasn't the time for getting hot and heavy because we have lunch to prepare, people!!!

A shout-filled, bustling 6 hours later... The clock struck 11 am and as if on cue, the guests started pouring in! No one would ever think it was autumn in Oasis Springs. The sun was baring down like no one's business. Good thing Audrey took the girls shopping earlier in the week and scored a hat for Lorelei 😮 .

Lin had arranged for their little lunch to take place on the front porch. She'd ordered another wooden table just for the occasion, and had a special seating arrangement. Each one sat opposite their partner, or friend if they had no +1. Of course, it's not Harvestfest if there's no magic involved. Ada offered to help Lin with the plates only to be greeted with a strange sight. Lin with two plates in either hand, surrounded with the remaining plates hovering around her like some fiery halo! No help needed there.

Several conversations took place at once. No one commented on the food because they all knew Lin cooked the best out of all of them (of course! She's the matriarch! 😛), but rather they caught up with each other...

Lin: How's your sleepover, Lore? Lorelei: I think it's the best one I've ever had in my life. First one as well, actually. Lin: Woot! Another one for my card! Lore: Hahahaha! It was really needed. You don't know how exhausted you are until you actually sit down and breath. Lin: Yes. You should have seen the stink Mikhail put up! Lore: HA! I think you've just made me a whole 100 eddies richer! I had a bet with Ashley whether he would resist or not.
